Here Are the Top 3 Crypto Airdrops You Don’t Want to Miss This Week (July Edition!)

Jakarta, Pintu News – Amid the sluggish altcoin market, crypto airdrops remain a commonly used scheme for portfolio diversification. These schemes provide easy access to promising projects, with little to no initial capital.

Entering the second week of July, a number of projects have announced airdrop-related developments.

Here is a list of projects with significant financial backing and worth considering for airdrop opportunities this week.

Backpack

Backpack, a blockchain services project, became the first crypto airdrop opportunity worth considering this week. The project has up to $37 million in funding and is backed by investors such as Delphi Ventures and Multicoin Capital.

Jump Crypto led the tier two funding, which also involved Robot Ventures, Amber Group, and Wintermute.

On July 3, Backpack announced the launch of Season 2 of its points farming program, encouraging participants to continue trading on their exchanges to increase transaction volume. In return, users will receive airdrops from the project.

The season will last until September 11, and a promotional campaign from Backpack Exchange will give users free tokens based on their trading activity.

The project runs on the Solana network (SOL). To participate, users must register on the exchange, complete KYC verification, and trade assets (excluding USDT/USDC pairs) to earn points based on transaction volume.

The higher the volume, the greater the potential rewards, including native tokens from Backpack or other ecosystem tokens such as Mad Lads NFTs.

Citing internal communications, an airdrop farmer named Mad Jack stated that the Backpack token launch will be awarded in exchange for activities on the exchange, such as inviting new users, creating volume, and maintaining position, among other criteria.

“It’s a big range of course, but I think it’s safe to speculate that this is a nine-figure airdrop and above,” Jack said.

Interestingly, data from Cryptorank.io shows a confirmed status for the Backpack farm airdrop program that runs until September 11.

D3

D3 is another noteworthy crypto airdrop opportunity. This blockchain services project has raised $30 million in funding.

Despite its potential airdrop status, the project has strong support, including from Paradigm who led the first round of funding. Other investors in this stage include Coinbase Ventures and Sandeep Nalwal.

Part of the funding comes from the $25 million raised in January. The project rewards users who mint domains on four networks: ApeChain, Core, Shiba, and Viction.

It should be noted that airdrop farmers will have to spend some money on this activity. However, this gives them a position as early adopters, potentially qualifying them for future airdrops from the D3 project.

The funding is allocated to develop infrastructure to support website domain registration and trading using blockchain technology.

In addition to the domain minting activity-which doesn’t have a specific deadline yet-D3 is also running the Nods role that opened on July 2, as well as the Doma testnet that started on June 24.

To start farming prospective D3 airdrop opportunities, visit the official D3 website, connect a compatible wallet, verify your email, and mint a domain for around $10 on networks like ApeChain, Core, Shiba, or Viction.

Camp Network

Camp Network also made the list of the top three crypto airdrop opportunities for the second week of July. The network has just announced the start of Act 2 of its Incentivized Testnet, complete with new quests that have been added.

In a thread, Camp Network explained that Act 2 will feature a wave of builders focused on innovations in on-chain IP, gaming, social, DeFi, and more.

In addition, the project also aims to remix iconic IP, experiment with creative collaborations, and push the boundaries of what’s possible when fans, creators, and AI build something together. Meanwhile, Act 3 of Camp Network is already in the planning stages.

Unlike D3 and Backpack, Camp Network rewards early adopters who engage with their Layer-1 (L1) blockchain, which focuses on AI-based intellectual property (IP) management.

To take part, users need to visit the Camp Network testnet, connect an EVM wallet, and complete various tasks such as social media interactions, daily check-ins, and minting limited edition NFTs.

Users will earn “Acorns” and “Matchsticks,” which can later be converted into CAMP tokens after the Token Generation Event (TGE).

The project has up to $29 million in funding, with Blockchain Capital leading the first round of funding. The second round of funding was co-led by 1kx, Maven 11 Capital, and OKX Ventures.

However, airdrop farmers are advised to always do their own research and monitor the project’s official channels for live and up-to-date information.
